WHAT DOES “MODIFIED-LIVE” MEAN?

A modified-live vaccine is a vaccine that uses live agents that are attenuated (modified in some way) to make it retain its immunogenicity and its ability to have limited replication in the host without producing illness.

WHAT IF MY DOG MISSED A VACCINATION OR IS LATE FOR A BOOSTER SHOT?

If your dog has missed a vaccination, received a vaccination outside of the labeled protocol or is
late for a booster shot, you will need to contact your attending veterinarian to determine a course
of treatment.

CAN I USE VANGUARD PAST THE EXPIRATION DATE?
We have no safety or efficacy data to support the use of expired products.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM RECOMMENDED AGE?
The recommended minimum age for Vanguard products is 6 weeks except for Vanguard B which is 3 weeks and Vanguard CIV which is 8 weeks.
CAN I PURCHASE VACCINES DIRECTLY THROUGH ZOETIS?
Zoetis sells only to licensed veterinarians.
