Zoetis Announces Winner of Guess the Weight Facebook Sweepstakes
VIP experience to the 2016 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event awarded to Kentucky horse enthusiast
FLORHAM PARK, N.J., June 1, 2016 — Josh Sumner of Hazard, Kentucky, was named the grand prize winner in the recent Guess the Weight Sweepstakes hosted on the Zoetis EQStable Facebook page. Sumner was awarded a VIP experience for four to the 2016 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event in Lexington, Kentucky.
“Growing up in Kentucky, the Rolex Three-Day Event is something I’ve always wanted to attend,” said Sumner. “It was certainly a once-in-a-lifetime experience to take my family and enjoy this prestigious event. The trip more than lived up to our expectations, and I certainly have a deeper appreciation for the equine athletes.”
The Guess the Weight Sweepstakes ran March 15 through March 31, 2016, on the Zoetis EQStable Facebook page. Sumner selected the most accurate weight estimations of five different horses based on photos, and received a special, VIP experience that included admission tickets for all three days spanning the International Trade Fair, the Sponsor Village and the Kentucky Horse Park. This award also included a personal cross-country course walk with Grand Prix jumper and dressage rider, Doug Payne.
“This promotion provided a great opportunity to engage horse owners and helped educate them on the importance of accurate dosing for dewormers,” said Kenton Morgan, DVM, senior veterinarian, Equine Technical Services, Zoetis. “The response was tremendous. We thank all of the 450 horse owners who participated in our recent sweepstakes.”
Prior to purchasing a dewormer, be sure to ask your veterinarian to conduct a fecal egg count test. Then evaluate your horse’s Individualized Deworming™ needs by answering a few questions, on IDMyHorse.com or within the EQStable app.
