Shelter Program Receives Halo Award as a Top 2013 Campaign

FLORHAM PARK, N.J.,July8, 2014 –Zoetis was honored with a GoldCause Marketing Halo Award in the Best Business Model IntegrationCategory at the 12th Annual Cause Marketing Forum Conference on May 29 in Chicago. A total of 18 awards were given out to programs judged to be the best at “doing well by doing good” in 2013.

The company was recognized for its Zoetis for Shelters program, an initiative in the United States to help companion animal pet shelters across the country receive discounted medicines and vaccines.  This allows sheltersto reinvest the cost savings to support their mission to rescue pets at risk and find them forever homes.Shelters represent the single biggest source for new pets in the United States.Once adopted, new pet owners rely on community based veterinarians for the healthcare of their animals.
