  • Jon Lowe, Global Head

    Jon Lowe joined Zoetis in 2009 after 15 years with Schering-Plough where he held sales management, marketing and commercial roles of increasing responsibility, including leading both the UK Livestock and US Cattle business units. Through this time Jon developed a broad experience of leading commercial operations and facilitating colleague development, as well as gaining a keen appreciation for the needs of customers.

    In joining Zoetis, Jon switched to strategic marketing, first with NPM where he partnered with VMRD colleagues to create the global portfolio development strategies for Beef Cattle. His most recent role has been as Group Marketing Director within the Canada and Latin America Region where he built the regional marketing team following the integration with Fort Dodge. Over the last 3 years, Jon led the development of the region’s strategic plan, implemented marketing planning processes and supported CLAR marketing investments in people and products. Over this period he has built a strong network within the global Zoetis business, and refined his strategic planning and matrix implementation skills. 

    In addition to his marketing responsibilities, Jon has led the CLAR diagnostics business since it became a part of Zoetis, representing CLAR in the Diagnostics LT and working with the markets and Global Diagnostics Marketing and Medicine to integrate the business, position key brands and drive growth.

     

    Dr. Sue DeNise, Senior Director, Global R&D

    Dr. Sue DeNise leads research and development of all new products in the Zoetis Genetics portfolio. In this role she also is responsible for overseeing global lab operations and customer service.

    Dr. DeNise joins Zoetis Genetics after spending the last seven years as Vice President of Genomics Research at MMI Genomics. In that position she was responsible for designing and directing research and development initiatives in multiple animal species. Dr. DeNise also spent 18 years as a professor in the Department of Animal Science at the University of Arizona.

     

     

    Dr. Jason Osterstock, Global Technical Services

    Dr. Osterstock leads the technical support teams for the Zoetis Genetics portfolio. In this role, he supervises translation of the benefits of genomic products through producer and stakeholder education, economic modeling efforts, and the development of decision support tools that facilitate interpretation and implementation of genomic data.

    Dr. Osterstock joined Zoetis in 2010 after six years as a faculty member in the Texas A&M University System. He has spent nearly ten years in veterinary medicine as a practicing veterinarian, clinical instructor, and researcher. Since joining Zoetis, Dr. Osterstock has supported the genetics business in a variety of capacities as a member of the Technical Services and Outcomes Research teams.

     

    Jonathan Glynn, Director - Genetics Laboratory Operations & Customer Service

    Dr. Glynn is the Director of Laboratory Operations and Customer Service at Zoetis Genetics. He holds a B.S. in Microbiology and a Ph.D. in Genetics from Michigan State University, and completed post-doctoral training with USDA-ARS in California. Prior to joining Zoetis, he held positions of increasing responsibility within a large manufacturing division of Pfizer, Inc. He is a member of the American Society for Quality, the American Society for Microbiology and the International Society for Animal Genetics.

     

    Doug Ricke, Director, Global Marketing

    Doug Ricke leads global marketing for the Zoetis Genetics brand portfolio. He joined us after four years in leadership positions with Pfizer Animal Health.

    Doug joined Pfizer Animal Health in 2003 after it acquired Pharmacia & Upjohn. Ricke became Director of Anti-Infectives for U.S. Cattle Marketing and played a key role in integrating the two companies. He and his team were responsible for developing and managing successful, rapidly growing brand portfolios and overseeing new product launches and their lifecycle management.
