Caution: Federal law restricts medicated feed containing this veterinary feed directive (VFD) drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
Key indication for use: 10 mg CTC/lb. body weight per day (feed for not more than 5 days) for the treatment of bacterial enteritis and pneumonia. Can be top-dressed or mixed into the daily ration.

Calves, beef and non-lactating dairy cattle: Treatment of bacterial enteritis cause by Escherichia coli(E. coli) and bacterial pneumonia cause by Pasteurella multocida organisms susceptible to chlortetracycline. Feed for not more than five days. The appropriate amount of feed supplement containing AUREOMYCIN may be mixed in the cattle's daily ration or administered as a top-dress. If the feed supplement containing AUREOMYCIN is administered as a top-dress, it must be spread uniformly on top of the ration, and sufficient space must be provided so that all cattle can eat at the same time.
