  • Description:

    USDA-licensed, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) test kit for the detection of Infectious Bronchitis Virus (IBV) antibodies in chicken serum samples.

    Use Situations:

    Routine IBV Flock Profiling:
    Collect and assay 30 or more high quality chicken serum samples per flock, particularly breeder hen flocks, on a routine basis (i.e., every four to six weeks).

    IBV Vaccination Evaluation:
    Randomly collect and assay 30 or more serum samples per flock immediately prior to IBV vaccine administration (pre-vaccination) and 2 to 6 weeks post-vaccination.

    Sampling:  

    Serum samples are used for testing.
