  • Description:

    USDA-licensed, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) test kit for the detection of Reovirus (REO) antibodies in chicken serum samples.

    Antibodies detected to:

    REO virusantibodies

    Use Situations:

    Routine REO Flock Profiling:
    Collect and assay 30 or more high quality chicken serum samples per flock, particularly breeder hen flocks, on a routine basis (i.e., every four to six weeks).

    REO Vaccination Evaluation:
    Randomly collect and assay 30 or more serum samples per flock immediately prior to REO vaccine administration (pre-vaccination) and 2 to 6 weeks post-vaccination.


    Serum samples are used for testing.

    Test Time:

    Results available in approximately 2 hours.


     Up to 450 tests (5 plates of 96 wells)

    Store test kits at 2ºC-7ºC (36ºF-45°F) (do not freeze)
