A successful swine influenza virus (SIV) health management plan begins with effective vaccines. FluSure XP® and FluSure® Pandemic vaccines, as part of the FluSure XP Defense SystemTM, help guard against 9 out of 10 of the most current flu strains threatening swine herds today.1
That claim is based on genetic comparison of more than 1,100 viruses characterized by the University of Minnesota Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory in the last three years. It showed 9 out of 10 circulating strains in the U.S. were at least 90 percent homologous to FluSure XP and FluSure Pandemic strains.
Antigenic drift and shift of SIV will continue to challenge swine herd health. The Zoetis FluSure XP Defense System will continue to meet that challenge through constant surveillance and product updates.
