LINCOMIX® Feed Medication

(lincomycin)

Control ileitis for less

There is just one FDA-approved solution for combating both ileitis and mycoplasmal pneumonia – two of the most costly diseases that threaten your swine operation. It’s LINCOMIX® (lincomycin hydrochloride) Feed Medication.

  • LINCOMIX Feed Medication delivers the most value by being approved for use against both Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae and Lawsonia intracellularis.
  • LINCOMIX requires no pre-slaughter withdrawal when fed according to label directions.

CAUTION: Federal law restricts medicated feed containing this veterinary feed directive (VFD) drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

  • Combats two costly diseases

LINCOMIX controls ileitis by reducing the shedding of Lawsonia intracellularis and the severity of the disease. If mycoplasmal pneumonia is present, Lincomix reduces severity by concentrating in the epithelia lining fluid (mucus) of the airways where the site of the infection is located.

    No withdrawal period

When used according to label directions, no preslaughter withdrawal is required.

    No weight restrictions

For the treatment of swine dysentery, and the control of porcine proliferative enteropathies (ileitis) caused by Lawsonia intracellularis: Feed 100 grams of lincomycin per ton of completed feed as the sole ration for three weeks, or until signs of disease (watery, mucoid or bloody stools) disappear.

For the treatment and control of swine dysentery, and the control of porcine proliferative enteropathies (ileitis) caused by Lawsonia intracellularis: Feed 100 grams of lincomycin per ton of completed feed as the sole ration for three weeks, or until signs of the disease (water, mucoid or bloody stools) disappear, followed by 40 grams of lincomycin per ton.
